Programs Overview

Forming Leaders. Strengthening Ministries. Transforming Communities.

The programs of the Council of Holistic Christian Churches & Ministries (CCHM) are designed to support leaders and ministries committed to practicing a faith that is lived, accountable, and transformative. Rooted in historic Christian tradition and informed by holistic liberation theology, CCHM programs integrate spiritual formation, ethical leadership, and community engagement.

Through education, cohort-based learning, credentialing pathways, and pastoral support, CCHM equips churches, ministries, and faith leaders to serve with integrity in complex social and spiritual contexts. Each program reflects the Council’s commitment to formation that shapes character, leadership that protects communities, and ministry practices that advance justice, healing, and dignity.

Together, these programs ensure that leaders are not only called—but prepared, supported, and accountable to the communities they serve.

Below is a rewritten, tighter, website-clean version of the CCHM Programs page—refined for funders, boards, and accreditation reviewers, while remaining clear and accessible for public audiences. This version reads with confidence, cohesion, and institutional maturity.

CCHM Programs

Formation That Shapes Leaders. Support That Sustains Ministry. Practice That Transforms Communities.

The programs of the Council of Holistic Christian Churches & Ministries (CCHM) are designed to form leaders who serve with integrity, wisdom, and accountability. Through education, formation, and support, CCHM equips churches, ministries, and faith leaders to practice a holistic Christian witness that is spiritually grounded and socially responsive.

Trauma-Informed Leaders Cohort

Leadership That Heals, Not Harms

The Trauma-Informed Leaders Cohort is a flagship eight-week training program within the Passion2Plant Network. It prepares pastors, ministry leaders, chaplains, organizers, and faith-based practitioners to recognize trauma, lead responsibly, and cultivate ministry environments that prioritize safety, trust, and dignity.

Participants gain practical tools to integrate trauma-informed approaches into pastoral care, justice work, and community engagement—advancing CCHM’s commitment to ethical, healing-centered leadership.

Passion2Plant Network

Leadership Formation for Holistic Ministry

The Passion2Plant (P2P) Network is a core CCHM formation program that equips faith leaders to develop ministries that are spiritually grounded, community-centered, and justice-oriented. P2P serves leaders at multiple stages of ministry development, with particular attention to church planting, urban missions, and community-based engagement.

Through cohort-based learning and applied frameworks, the Passion2Plant Network strengthens leadership capacity while aligning ministry practice with CCHM’s theological identity and holistic praxis.

Credentialing Training

Foundations for Faithful and Accountable Ministry

The Credentialing Training Program, offered through CCHM’s Education Department, serves individuals seeking credentials who do not have formal theological training. The program provides essential foundations in Christian theology, CCHM’s faith commitments, and holistic ministry praxis.

Credentialing Training prepares participants for responsible leadership, ethical service, and accountability, supporting CCHM’s standards for ordained, licensed, commissioned, and affiliated ministers.

Why These Programs Matter

Formation with Integrity. Leadership with Accountability.

Together, CCHM programs ensure that leaders are not only called—but formed, supported, and equipped to serve faithfully in today’s complex social and spiritual landscape.
